Makfen is a process equipment manufacturer and engineering company founded in Istanbul in 2009. We design and manufacture reactors, tanks, mixers, blenders, silos and heat exchangers for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and petrochemical industries, and we build turnkey production plants.
Today our experienced team of 140 people works across two production facilities in Kocaeli: the Gebze facility, where carbon steel equipment is manufactured, and the Dilovası facility, which focuses on stainless steel process equipment. We manage the entire process from design and fabrication to installation and commissioning, delivering solutions to international standards for projects in Türkiye and abroad.

Makfen operates from two specialist facilities in Kocaeli with a total production area of 10,000 m². Each facility focuses on a different material group: carbon steel and stainless steel fabrication are carried out in separate facilities, each with its own equipment and specialist team. This separation minimises the risk of iron contamination from carbon steel on stainless equipment.
