Pva (Polyvinyl Acetate) Manufacturing Plant It is a thermoplastic, water-soluble homopolymer formed as a result of polymerization of vinyl acetate (CH2=CHOOC-CH3) monomers and catalysts.
They are generally used as the main raw material of the water-based adhesive industry and as an acrylic-based paint binder in water-based coatings. However, these water-based adhesives are also resins used in areas such as textiles and wood impregnation. Vinyl acetates, which are white in color and become transparent when dry, can be obtained in various properties and colors with the addition of different fillers and dyes. They are soluble in water.
The main ones of this plastic group obtained by polymerizing various vinyl resins are as follows: • Polyvinyl Acetate (PVAc) • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) • Polyvinyl Alcohol • Polyvinyl Acetals and other similar compounds.
