OINTMENT AND GEL TANKS

Manufacturing process equipment since 2009, Makfen produces ointment and gel tanks, that is, production tanks for ointments, gels and creams, mainly for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries, according to customer requirements and product specifications.

Features of Ointment and Gel Tanks

Heated by steam or electric resistance heaters, these tanks are manufactured in capacities ranging from 50 litres to 2000 litres. They can be used on their own or as part of a system together with phase tanks in which the water phase and the oil phase are prepared separately. Equipment, agitator type and heating/cooling installation are determined by the viscosity of the product and the process characteristics.

Ointment and gel tanks can be designed for fully automatic operation under PLC control or built with manual controls, depending on the customer’s requirements. Depending on the operating conditions and preferences, ATEX-compliant equipment for hazardous areas and a weighing system can be added.
